U.S. immigration attorney Mona Tehrani is the founder and managing attorney of the Virginia Law Center for Immigration and Citizenship. With more than a decade of experience in immigration law, she provides strategic counsel on complex family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian matters, guiding clients through nuanced federal regulatory frameworks with rigor and discretion. Her work reflects a combination of legal acumen, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to principled advocacy in high-stakes immigration proceedings.

Ms. Tehrani grew up in Northern Virginia. In 2009, she earned her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, majoring in Philosophy and double minoring in Journalism and Religion. She then attended Johns Hopkins University, studying governmental affairs at the graduate level. In 2014, she received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. She is a certified member of the DC Bar, with offices in Reston, VA & Arlington, VA.
